Philly Cheesesteak Panini’s
- 1/2 Tablespoon olive oil
- 2 slices of sourdough bread
- 1/4 lb. medium-rare roast beef
- 1 Tablespoon green pepper
- 1 Tablespoon yellow onion
- 1 Tablespoons mushrooms
- 2 slices of provolone cheese
- 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
Instructions:
- heat half the olive oil in a skillet on medium-high heat and sauté green peppers, mushrooms, and onions until onions are translucent
- Heat panini press to high heat
- Brush griddle with olive oil
- butter one side of each slice of bread
- butter side down and assemble sandwich; cheese, roast beef, green peppers, onion, (optional: sautéed mushrooms), cheese
- close panini press and press down firmly for 10-15 sec
- remove from griddle once the bread is golden brown and cheese is melted
- cut in half and enjoy
