Episode 4 | How to Make Philly Cheesesteak Paninis

Philly Cheesesteak Panini’s
  • 1/2 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 1/4 lb. medium-rare roast beef
  • 1 Tablespoon green pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon yellow onion
  • 1 Tablespoons mushrooms
  • 2 slices of provolone cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  1. heat half the olive oil in a skillet on medium-high heat and sauté green peppers, mushrooms, and onions until onions are translucent
  2. Heat panini press to high heat
  3. Brush griddle with olive oil
  4. butter one side of each slice of bread
  5. butter side down and assemble sandwich; cheese, roast beef, green peppers, onion, (optional: sautéed mushrooms), cheese
  6. close panini press and press down firmly for 10-15 sec
  7. remove from griddle once the bread is golden brown and cheese is melted
  8. cut in half and enjoy
